...will the slight pattern on the tail region get blacker with age? shes just a yearling, and so far seems to be getting blacker with each shed (especially her head and the white is dissapearing from her lips). i love black pines and cant wait to find a mate. definatly my favortie pit, followed by northern pines and bulls. i plan on getting a pair of those 277 monsters, but need to make room for those beasts! lol
greg
greg,
As far as I know the pattern should fade as she grows. I have a killer 5 foot male I was thinking of selling, haven't decide yet. I'm pretty much out of room so its hard to add to my collection. I try to keep it managable so it isn't all work. The racks I use sure make it aloy easier to maintain. thanks Ron

..first, you come highly recommended. if you do decide to sell that male, let me know. and if you have any offspring from those beautiful red bulls, let me know! id rather have a nice red bull than a 277. sweet snakes!

OH MY GOSH!!!
I have to have one or two or three. These things are GORGEOUS!!!
I just got two pair of Northern pines and told my husband I was done buying snakes for awhile. Think he would notice a pair of these beauties?
Hi, My name is Shari and I am a pituphous addict.
There really should be a 12-step meeting for this disease....but then again, I don't think I want to recover from this yet.
Shari...
I had been in the hobby for most of my life and I didn't discover pits until like 1996. It was all over from there. Never has there been a kind of snake that I have been so excited and proud to own as pits. I very rarely buy anything but pits now!!!!!!!
A sickness that I love!

This picture was taken at the end of last year. Voodoo has now grown a fair bit and is more gorgeous than ever. I'm still amazed at how glossy she is after she sheds. I'll have to take some new photos!
