I have been reading a LOT of posts on various forums about eggs going extra long this year. My own first clutch went to 79 days and had 100% hatch rate. My second clutch is now in day 71. Last year this same pairing, in the same incubator, with the same temps (83.3), hatched out at day 65-66 every time. It also took my first clutch 5 days to all hatch out. The babies are awesome and eating like mad right out of the incubator. No health problems at all.
Is it just my imagination that more people are having clutches go long this year? Maybe I am just more sensitive to it because my own dragons went long?
Please, if you have a second, let me know how many days your clutches average in the incubator. How long from the first egg collapsing does it take before the last one is out? And what incubator you use/temp. Just for the record. I know dachiu has that great chart, but that is under identical conditions.
Thanks in advance.
Enjoy the pictures!
