Take it to a reptile vet, and find out for certain. The vet may be able to give better advice on what to do. If they are broken, splinting is not out of the question, though of course difficult on such a very small animal. But you need to find out exactly what happened. Broken hips or spine are more serious concerns.

Take it to a vet! Now, please.

It may be a broken back, not broken legs. But if you take it to a vet even a broken back can be treated successfully and the gecko may be able to make a full recovery. This is NOT something you can treat yourself at home, you may need an x-ray.

Thank you guys for all your help, and for those of you who give me useful help. For others, i dont appreciate the sarcastic comments. If you dont have anything helpful to say, dont say it.

Thanks anyway and sorry about the rude.

I gave you the information you needed to the best of my knowledge and ability. But you should consider what I said about if it was your arm, or your brothers. When we accept the responsibility of a pet we are taking their lives into our hands. Morally, and LEGALLY, we have a responsibility to provide proper care for them , in sickness and in health.

Most regulars on this forum are here because they love and care about geckos. It is understandable they would be shocked, upset and appalled to hear that a gecko may have a broken back, or broken legs, and has not been rushed to a vet. Imagine how people would react on a "New Mothers" forum if someone wrote and said "I dropped my baby on floor, and now her legs don't work. What should I do?" I am not saying that I think that human lives are equivalent to a geckos, but leopard geckos are living, feeling, intelligent creatures...and they deserve to be treated with care and compassion. When we raise them out of the wild, and take them into our care, we owe them that...not only as living creatures, but for what our treatment of them says about us as human beings.

I think the answer to your question, "take her to a vet", which was given to you by everyone, should have been obvious. I hope you will advise your brother to do the right thing.

Try a vet!

If the animal is seriously injured, it doesnt deserve to not be treated, it NEEDS a vet ASAP. Hope it can recover and good luck,
Mac

I highly recomend taking him to a vet, only he/she can proscribe the best care for your leos. Good luck!
