Spiny forest chameleon?

rdbartlett Jun 18, 2003 02:18 PM

A chameleon? Definitely not. Not even close. But this is the common name usually associated with this forest lizard. Small (about a foot overall) and strangely angular, the Central American Corytophanes hernandezi depends on camouflage rather than speed to avoid its enemies.
