I haven't posted much lately, but I'm going to start again. For those of you who remember me talking about Kermit you know that he was an incredibly sweet, loving and beautiful friend that I loved dearly!
Well, he dug a tunnel out of his outdoor enclosure and escaped several days ago, and even with all of our neighbors helping us search we have not been able to locate him.
There is a creek along the back of our property and hundreds of acres of wilderness reserve on the other side of that. Not to mention the hawks and stray cats, and it has been cool the past few nights with rain
I just feel miserable! I should have known to put a screen on the bottom, too. We put the enclosure up on the back patio now, I just wish we had done that from the start and I would still have my baby . . .

Sorry to hear about Kermit. I really hope he turns up. I'd keep checking he might not have gone too far. He might have even got spooked and hid somewhere close and may even still be there. I wish you the best luck in finding him.
