What kind of calcium (some forms as not as readily utilized by turtles as others)? Have you tried cuttlebone (the stuff for birds)? If not, get some, pry off the hard backing, break it into pieces and keep some floating in your tank. It's considered to be a good calcium supplement and is not expensive to keep buying.
Cuttle bone is a great, no fuss way to get more calcium into the diet. There are some commercially available suppliments too if you are still concerned about calcium intake and your turtle (or in your case, terrapin) doesn't really go after the cuttle bone when you float it in the tank. I occassionally use Rep-Cal, which is a calcium suppliment with vit. D3. It's an ultrafine power that you dust on to their food.
Be careful of using suppliments meant for other animals, like the dog suppliment that you mentioned. You can't be sure if it is in a digestable for that the turtles can use.
