Help with denting uro geyri egg!!

gexy Jun 03, 2004 01:24 PM

Well, I have 16 uro geyri eggs that have been incubating for 63days now! The temp in the incubator went between 88-92degrees through out the 63 days. I noticed today one of the eggs is denting on top I added a bit of moisture to the vermiculite just incase it is the lack of enough humitity causing it to dent but none of the other eggs are denting at all! Could this mean the eggs is getting ready to hatch? Is it still too early? should I be concerned about this? Could the baby be dead in the egg? I so stressed out!!!!! Please help!!

Could be any number of things. Be patient. Let nature take its course.

Last fall I had a red footed tortoise lay some eggs and we incubated them for the entire gestation period and then some only to discover that the eggs where not fertile and in fact empty.
