need somebody to identify this viper

my friend have bought this viper from bangkok.the seller said it's from mainland china.but he have no idea what species this is.does anybody know what species is this?

I believe it is Protobothrops jerdonii,(Jerdon's PitViper), which does occur in China, India, Myanmar,(Burma), Nepal, and Vietnam.

That would be the species called Protobothrops jerdoni xanthomelas.
