Anyone ID this Lizard?

Krazy-K Jun 03, 2004 02:00 PM

I was sent this photo recently from a friend who has family in Iraq...aside from that....He found a VERY hardy lizard there. I also will not illustrate on that.
So....Native to Iraq? Obviously active during the day.
Good Luck and thanx for playing.

Thats a Trapelus species.
From the typical pattern on the back I´d carefully conclude that it is Trapelus blanfordi, an agamid native to Iraq

Hope that helps
