I found a nice light mint green big guy in Maryland backyard. He has a small round yellow bumb on his butt.

There are many in the Sphinx family so without seeing it, I can't help you any further. But, if you go here http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/ and ask Bill Oehlke, he'll help you narrow it down further or be able to identify it outright.

Check the insecthobbyist forums. One is pretty much dedicated the IDing cats. They also frequently post pics and links to good ID sites.
