Savannah Montior

I have a Savannah Montior about 3-3.5 feet. i have about a foot of sad but i want to put more in so he can dig holes in it with out it caving in what can i put in with the sand to make it stronger so it will not cave in?. and my tank is 5x3x3. The sand is Play sand by the way.

I use 2 50lb bags of topsoil to every one 50lb bag of playsand for my savannah and my water monitor as well and it burrows great once packed down firmly. A got test is to stick a finger in the soil to see if it holds the imprint.
