Saw Mystical Dragons' dragons this week!

chris allen Jun 03, 2004 10:19 PM

Just thought I'd share with everyone I was lucky enough to be invited over to Matt's place and see his babies this week. I have been there before to deliver directly to him, but this time was just for fun so I really got to look at his dragons. Let me tell everyone............Matt is awesome at caring for his dragons. N O W H E R E else, have I ever seen such quality and care put into a collection----in person. I was amazed yet again at the size and color of his dragons...........especially Candy and Foster, mom and dad of the babies he has now. Through the years of posting and reading, many were quick to do or quick to breed, but Matt is on another level. Just saying awesome job Matt!!

Yeah my kids aren't going to eat as well this month thanks to Matt and his babies. Unless I can convert them to crickets and pellets for the month?

Hey Mike you had the best picks, and the only one who had Chris Allen personally come over and choose what he thought was top of the clutch and got a chance to snatch them both up. You lucked out on the day you bought to have him coming over Actually you got my picks of the clutch too LOL.

I'm not Hot on the pellets myself though I know FoodTown has cup o soups on sale for 5 for a $1 though... I know because I've been living on them with the cricket bill these guys have been racking up here the last 2 months LOL. My dragons eat like kings & Queens, and I just survive here with them as their servant LMAO

Don't take the above statement as a complaint. It was just more a statement of fact. I'll look into that soup thing though.

Wow Chris what a surprise.. Was not expecting this at all, but thanks a lot, and I'm glad you enjoyed coming over earlier this week as much as I enjoyed having you check out how your babies turned out as adults. I'm glad you liked them, and how they have grown, and grown LOL. Thanks for giving me a hand with the second opinion on the sexing of all the babies. See you in 5 weeks for the sexing of the second clutch LOL.. No really all I can say is I met a great breeder when I got into dragons, one that answered all my questions. Took the time and taught me just about everything from raising them to breeding them. Thanks for teaching me the right way to care for these dragons, and all the safer ways of going about things with raising them and breeding them. In telling me to take my time instead of jumping in head first with minimal knowledge. Pointing me to the right people who could teach me further about them, and keeping them healthy. Thanks for all the help along the way Chris. I actually was hoping bringing you around would get you back into dragons LOL, but I guess you did enough in your time. Just take a look at how many people pride themselves in owning Chris Allen dragons. And the name goes on with each generation

said about Matt and his wonderful dragons, I had just said almost the same thing on another list/forum...... the time to do things right and care for them, really does show in the offspring. I have watched Foster and Candy grow up, know the parents they come from and the care Matt provided them.

These babies got the best start in life and it started a few years ago, not just when they hatch.

I have one of these coming to me and I have not looked so forward to a baby since CC came to us. I feel very fortunate to have one going to be living with us to be raised.

I feel like a kid with christmas coming up! I long wanted one of your offsprings and now we will have a grandchild of your dragons
