I just had to share with people who would understand. I got my first gecko (an adult male) about 2 months ago and until tonight he was not too happy when I touched him. But tonight he was walking around and staring at me through the glass so as usual I put my hand in the tank in front of him to let him get used to my smell and he immediately climbed up my arm! After a few minutes I put him back, I didn't want him to get too stressed by the adventure but he climbed on the higher branch he found and looked out so I put my hand again and he went straight up the arm again.
A few weeks of patience did the trick, he know realised I don't want to hurt him.
I am so happy!!!!

thats great!! I am new to being a gecko mom. I just purchased 2 leo's myself. I beleive one is a tangerine and one is a lavender something (judging by the pics I have seen) my male crawls right on me. I just got him tonight. the female is timid still. hopefully I will be as lucky as you. good job

Yeah, I was so excited when one of my leos first walked up onto my hand like that, after like 2 and a half months. Good times.
