Now to share some good news, the female who laid a clutch of 7 eggs (1 slug) (6 what look to be good) eggs ate a rat last night.

It sure is shocking to see how skinny they get when then fast for so long, and then drop eggs!

I've worried about young snakes, who have gotten quite skinny while fasting, but I have never seen anything more skinny then a female who has just laided eggs. They take on such a deflated look, it almost looks as if they are sick.

The other 5 females, look to be a OK. Even though they were all bred numberous times, I don't think much is going on with them.

There is one however that seems to be getting FATTER and fatter, and DOES not eat. So I will keep my fingers crossed, but if nothing happens no big deal. I am so happy just to get one clutch, that I can wait until next season.
