New Vision has loose screen/grill - Super Glue O.K. ?

tcdrover Jun 04, 2004 11:10 AM

Hi, I just got my new Vision 4' cage yesterday. It looks great, but has a slight problem.

It looks like it took a hit in transit. The screen had a slight
dent and a loose bolt. It can't be screwed, so I was wondering
if super glueing it would be O.K.?

The screen is slightly loose, not loose enough for an actual
escape, but loose enough so a boa could jam his head and maybe
get stuck and injured. Anybody have any experience with fixing
loose screens on Visions?

Thanks,
tc

Now all I've got to do is decide who gets a bigger home, not
such an easy decision....

i say, take a rachet, force the bolt out. if it breaks, get a "easy out" (made for bolts that broke) then try to find a bolt that will fit it, take a hammer and fix teh ding. and its good as new.

but incase the threads are messed up, you might want to get a "tap set" they look like dril bits, but alow you to retap you screw hole.

(this isnt really as bad as it sounds )

Get a drill and a pop rivet gun....This would be the best thing to do.......Superglue will not work!!!!

Let me know if you have any other questions!
