The Blizzard Lizard is simply a color morph of the leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius). The care requirements are identical. The leopard gecko manual or other good books on the species can be found at virtually any pet store. Check the leopard gecko forum, they could probably direct you to the best care sheets or refer any specific books they think provide quality information. It has been one of the most highly recommended gecko species for beginners for years.

BOOKS !!!
Books are for people without PC`s
Guess ya`ll dont discuss Gecko stuff in this forum like we Python keepers do in Python forums.

You don't have to be a jerk about it!You don't know how many times so one comes on this forum and asks for a leopard gecko care sheet..............while you could just do a search on google and find thousands or care sheets.

Regaurdless of "HOW MANY TIMES" you see something posted or directly asked for in a forum the person asking the question doesnt have a gun to your head "FORCEING YOU" to click the re: tab now do they ?I`ve been answering the same rhetoric questions on topics since 1995.The ones I have time for,the others I just "skip" and let someone else do it.
Maybe it is in FACT better to deal with Pet Store`s and books on topic then it is to hang out in forums like this ?

Naaah........that would be to "broadbrushed" not all of this forums'users are upity intolerant pricks !Some just need a caresheet on "self control".

Thanks to those that forwarded more info/direction(s) then I/we could possibly use :thumbup:It should keep her busy and get her off to a good start with her future Geko purchase.

a simple care sheet will never be able to replace a good book.

SSLoneStar Jun 05, 2004 12:56 PM

possibly for a herp noob ?
outside of feeders i`ve never delt with lizards,so the caresheet I was after would have already had a herp foundation to work from.
Prolly shoulda just used my common sense and not botherd to ask a Gecko question in a General Gecko Getto forum piloted by Wizards of such Refinment.

OF COURSE sslonestar, I am going to explain what has just happened because you do seem to be lost. There is a Leopard Gecko Forum. Your question pertains to the Leopard Gecko, so according to Pet Hobbyist's terms of use policy you need to address such questions in the Leopard Gecko Forum. You were simply redirected by the first reply. There are many knowledgeable and very experienced people who reply to questions and make posts on this forum and your statements are very distorted. Scholarly journals and quality books could never be replaced by a three page print outs on a species. Here's my 2cts. You are a dysfunctional alcoholic, a 13 year old male who needs to vent some hormonal craze, a snake keeper stuck in 95, or possibly a very immature adult. Actually, your sodium intake is too high and you eat too much meat and cheese.
PEACE

Hmmmmmm.... I thought this was the "general" Gecko forum? Maybe we should just tie him up and beat him for coming here and asking for info, expecting help from someone with knowledge of Geckos. :rollmyfreakineyes:

SSLONESTAR Jun 06, 2004 03:49 PM

This sounds as if you tried to hit me with your purse or something ?? LOL!!Surely it wasnt a Flame ? if it was you need a bigger purse.
Only thing dysfunctional is your life, forgive me for my part in it. I`ve reminded your mother on a regular basis she would regret not swallowing. The only other advise a father could give to a bastard child would be to commit suicide first chance ya get because those type feelings you have for your Grandma arent in any way natural.

PULL THE TRIGGER !!

Not trying to swing a purse, just felt the need to be realistic and to hopefully bring you to a realization about patience. Just irritated that people seem mentally incapable of keeping reptiles, yet they insist they must. That's the impression I got from your first reply.
PEACE

Bottomline is STILL
This is a General Gecko Forum and anything GECKO is allowed regaurdless of whether theres other specific forums or not.
READ "your" beloved TOS !!!You wrote the rules right ?
I`ll leave "Your" Gecko forum to prevent any further stress from the overbearing load of "Lordship"

:All Hail: :worship: :worship: :worship:

You guys need to chill. SSL is right just answer the question. If you dont want to then dont. Ranting and yelling at him wont 1) make it go away 2) make you seem manly and smart 3) make your ePenis bigger. A person smart enough to get to this forum can probably discover the leopard gecko forum on his own. If it was me, I would ask both forums to get the best opinions. People dont seem to flame people that ask about diseases of leopards or other specific geckos. Just give the guy a caresheet or the link to the forum and can the hostility...

SSLoneStar Jun 08, 2004 08:29 PM

WELL NO SH*T !!!
Tell that little known fact to the "Forum Lord" that jumps a thread with a weakness to rhetoric. Instead of giving a sound answer attempts to direct someone to the mercy of the PET STORE EXPERTS !!!
REMEMBER ............

NOBODY " F O R C E S " anyone to "R E P L Y" to a post.
