i know this is a normal thing but this morning i woke up and my male crested didnt have his tail. he is caged with a female. could the female have bitten it off. would it just fall off. whats the deal. thanks

I doubt that it just fell off, unless totally stressed, but my guess is it was bitten off.

Hey, don't be too amazed... They lose their tails for many reasons and not just by being attacked. Sometimes if they do not shed properly they drop it, if they are stressed, bitten, or even during mating. I suspect that they were probably mating last night and the tail fell off.
