UVA and UVB Help

I was wondering I have a small stip light with uva and uvb and some people say to leave it on 10-12 hours And I some times leave it on longer is this bad ? or dose it not really matter ? thx for any info

Most UV bulbs don't put out anywhere near what the sun does, so if you leave it on a bit longer i wouldn't really worry about it, they're not going to OD on it. the only concern i would have is if you are interupting their sleep cycle.
