UltAnoleMan Jun 18, 2003 03:53 PM

Ok my setup is : Substrate: Coco husk,Water: a big bowl which takes mostly the half of the side., Climbing objects:a brach which leads to the bowl. , random stuff: moss. If the branch is to thin will it still climb it?

Can I use tree bark as hiding place?? And dont animals also digg in b/c it is cold?? is there a prob with my temprateure u think??? I use 40 watts night and day cycle. Any probs??

Will this work?? Well since there is not round shaped bark around here can i cut a platic cup in half and stick some bark on it and also will it just hide in the cup?? with nothing on it??

Plz respond ASAP!!
THX!!

You're still not telling us what we need to know in order to help you.
A 40 watt bulb is good for certain sized tanks - what size is your tank?
Do you have a temp guage/strip in it to monitor the temp? If so what is the temp? If not, go get one.
What is the humidity? Again, if you don't have a guage, go get one.
Is your water treated water, bottled water, tap water? How often do you change it?
It sounds like you do not have any hides in the tank for him. Does the tank have plants in it? If not, get a few. Get some artificial ones for right now and if you wish to add real ones later, they need to be wasked free of all the soil they come in, repotted in safe soil and allowed to grow outside the tank for 6 weeks before being added to it.
No, if the stick is too small for him to climb he won't climb it. Get some branches not sticks.
And instead of typing more than what I have, please go to my site at the link below and read the GTF oage as well as the husbandry page. It covers all of the above and lots more that you need to know. Hope this helps.
