how much do pet store BCI usually cost?????

lilroach56 Jun 04, 2004 04:46 PM

i was wondering how much pet store BCI usually cost, as the local pet store near me has what appears to be an anery, and i dont think they know it is a morph (probably do judging by how they care for their herps). So i was wondering how much i should save up to buy it.

In my area, normal bci's go for 100.00 for less attractive animals and up to 200.00 for more attractive specimens. For 100-200.00 you could buy a KILLER bci from someone in the kingsnake classifieds. Pet stores are almost always over priced. An Anery would be quite a find in a pet store...and a lot of people would have to make a mistake for it to make it to the cash register unnoticed. Here is a pic of an anery neonate for your reference.

BTW-No I haven't fixed that typo on my website....

When I worked at East Bay, we had them fro $80 to $100 each depending on size/coloration, etc. At EbN, we sell them for $85 each...however, I know the local pet stores have them for much more than that...usually at around $150 or so. I haven't seen any Anerys being offered in pet stores but if I would figure they'd be priced at least the same if not more than what Anerys are being offered for on the classifieds...so anywhere between $300 and $500? I've seen lots of normals that somewhat resembled Anerys but were still normals though...
