Anyone notice this on Jungles like me???

M n R-Reptile Jun 04, 2004 09:18 PM

I have looked and looked all over the net for Proven Line Jungle Pics. What I have noticed in all the proven line ones is by the tail, the first and sometimes second or third tail saddle is "blocky" or rectangular/square in shape??????
The only time I havent seen this is when the animal has a stripe leading fromt he body into the tail but the stripe is "tapered" like it normally is but squary at the ends.
Anyone notice this too??
If you own a PROVEN line Jungle please share pics with us as the more we see the more we can see if they all have this.

I am tryin to visualize your asessments. One thing I have noticed is that specimens noted as proven jungles seem to show less of a "jungle looking" pattern than animals sometimes sold as possible genetic jungles or just shown as abherant. But then again I go to Petco every day hoping to find something that has slipped through the cracks lol. Anyone else share in my delusion?

I myself am very interested in this also!I purchased a female about 6 months ago that was sold to me as a dominent striper an with not being very knowledgable about genetics an all I am not really sure if shes that or a jungle because she does show the signs of which you are discussing her last 3 or 4 saddles are not saddles they are a stripe that leads into the tail saddles an they start off with a square or block as you mentioned, with a big circle or hole in it an her 3 saddles before this stripe are also blocky with a hole in them also!I f I had a camera I would definatley post some pics of her but sadley I don't!But I am very interested in learning more about this trait an it would be awsome if she was a jungle an not just a beautiful striper! Thanks Charles[hypoboa!]
