Xeero is going to shed

ZeroX Jun 05, 2004 07:17 AM

My baby leopard gecko is about to start shedding. His whole body is turning silvery white.

What should I do to ensure good shedding? What things can I buy and what steps should I take to make sure ALL of the old skin comes off?

Thanks in advance,

ZeroX

Dont feed your leo
Have a humid hide
Mist directly on your leo once daily

you know your leo shed good when you can't find the shed.

Just make sure you provide a constantly moist humid hide and keep it on the warm side of the tank. Babies shed every few days, so they require more humidity than adults do. I put my humid hides partially off the UTH so only like a third of the hide is resting on top of the heat source.
