I wasn't going to breed any of my snakes this year other than a few het albino balls because we were supposed to be moving early this summer. Because of this I didn't brumate any of them at all. Well, things got delayed and my hondurans are in great shape so I thought what the heck.
I still won't have time to spend on a lot of babies so I just put one albino male with an adult het female just to see what results I could get. On 5/28, she laid 6 eggs. As of this morning all 6 candle fertile without a doubt. I live on the east coast, they were exposed to the natural light cycle from the days shortening, and I did decrease their feeding from Dec. to March. They are kept in racks and the heat tape was never turned down from 83 at all. I know that hondurans don't need much of a down time for them to breed, I usually just cool them for 8 weeks and double clutch most females every year. Does anyone else breed them regularly with no change in temperature at all?
