Ready to buy a red-tailed boa

MyLeftArm Jun 05, 2004 08:43 AM

Have done all my research. Boyfriend has owned many snakes, including redtailed boa, and is itching for one. Looking for a reputable breeder/pet store in NY or NJ that has male baby. I dont want to break the no advertising rule here, so if you can email me at lisanyc@earthlink.net, would appreciate it. Happy Herping.

If your only going to get one your going to want to spend the extra money on one that will stay colorful and/or light. The average $90 dollar pet store boa has a high chance to be a plain dark adult. Joe Rollo goes by "BCIJOE" on the classifeds. I told Joe what I was looking for and he recommended a baby that he though would grow into my descrition. It looked even better in person than his discription of him. Plus he willingly answered many pretty basic boa questions for me.

Joe Rollo rocks.
He was and still is very helpful to us "new and nervous mother-types" like myself!. Will no doubt be posting more photos with time but here is the photo that made me fall in love with him.
A real sweet snake.
