i've been calling everywhere. airborne will not ship snakes/lizards. ups will not let me ship him. fed ex will not ship him. i can't think of anyone that i haven't called. who will ship a live 1 1/2 foot lizard?!?!?

They all say different things according to who you speak with.
I use ups and occasionally usps (instate) depending on distance. Some have accounts and are able to label box live harmless reptiles.
I label mine fragile or handle with care. Ups knows I ship reptiles as they like to see what new animal they just delivered and ask about it's care and just look at it. Usps called once to ask what was inside because I re-used a box that had holes. I told them a chameleon and they said ok they just wanted to make sure nothing dangerous.
So if your selling something you can either try to get an acct (dont know how that works), just ship with undescriptive labeling, or sell local.
