My garter snake just had 31 babies today. Does ANYONE know what to feed them and how often? (unfortunatley, my garters are MATING again (lucky me)

I raised mine on tiny chunks of bait store minnows. I have read that while they will eat worms, that is not nutritionally complete enough for a baby garter. You could also use baby guppies. The bait minnows will be less expensive. Duffy

Oh, yeah...And at that age/size you will want to feed them every day or two. Probably almost every day until they get a little size on them. Good luck with them. Duffy

If your garters are breeding again and you don't want more babies, then why didn't you seperate them after the first breeding? Thamnophis are known to eat other snakes as well, so if you are keeping them together, you would be doing them a favor by seperating them.
