Lights, depends on the size of the animals STV length I adjust by adding more bulbs. The outdoor floods are much much much more durable, make alot more heat and light in an area that makes a 130f to beyond 188f easily constructed. The bulbs are low wattage save electricity to much higher watt bulbs and also because of lower wattage dont overheat the cage and dry it out. My 6 ft albig uses 4 bulbs, my 4ft 2 inch albig uses 3, my ackie and all of my beardies use 1 for each basking spot. The bulbs are available at hardware stores and are better priced than those useless reptile bulbs. I use 45 watts because its the lowest and easy to get a good temp gradient in the cage.
