this is one of my favorite pics, from head on it looked like my corn was a dragon with big ears (mouse feet) and a very long tongue (mouse tail)
enjoy

How do you guys get your corns to hold still on the carpet?Mine take off like a bat out of hell. All my snakes do.My tort tries to,but he is at least easy to catch.Great pics...Paul.

I agree...about the carpet dash..lol

I get my camera ready and lift their hidebox and quickly snap a pic but it doesn't always work for me the 1 several tries and even then 70% of the time, the pics turn out bad.lol

I don't usually photograph on the floor but the concept is the same.
When I put them in the "photo" box I put them under a dark bowl for about five or ten minutes, get the camera ready and then lift off the bowl. I can usually get a few pictures before they start to crawl away. This will usually work twice. When they start to crawl and I don't feel as if I got any decent pictures I will try a second time. By the third try they will instantly try to escape.

I used to teach photography to pay for grad school, got a hint for your pics, if you want. Try putting the snake under a hide for a bit. once they get comfortable and curl up, take the hide box off and snap a few quick pictures. Usually took me five minutes under a bowl for the snake to get comfortable, then I could snap about five shots before teh snake took off again. Just a bit of help.
