Does anyone know how old Black milks should be before they are able to breed?

I bought a proven pair that were '01's and they produced last year. The female is over five feet, the male just under. I also have two other '01's. Of those two, the male is the larger, just over five feet, and the female is rather small - about two and a half feet. Hope that gives you some insight.
