12 week old beardie not eating

bumble Jun 06, 2004 05:34 AM

yesterday i was feeding my beardie from the cricket tub, when a mealworm fell out. my beardie then gobbled it up before i had the chance to remove it. he ate more crickets later in the day, but this morning when he was given his breakfast of crickets he refused any food - which he has never done before. could this be an early sign of compaction?

It is possible.

Here is a link to help you get started helping your beardie out. If you follow these directions and he still doesn't poop in 24 hours, take him to a vet ASAP.

I hope this is helpful for you. Good luck.

make sure that he is basking and that his basking spot is at least over 95 degrees. also make sure that he is not dehydrated.
