Removing bad eggs??? Help!

kingofrain21 Jun 06, 2004 09:51 AM

My female corn laid a clutch of eggs, strangest thing I've seen, all varying sizes, 22 of them - one is as big as an
m&m some are regular size and healthy. they clumped together like a healthy clutch does..... trouble is, one of the bad eggs is in the middle of the clump ---- not to the point where it's completely surrounded, but it would be a real pain to remove. i've heard it's usually ok to leave the bad eggs; that they won't affect the others. Any advice? leave it or cut it out?
thanks - and if cut it out, any tips for doing so would be appreciated, this is the 3rd year i've had eggs, and last year i had a huge perfect clutch of 20, all hatched big healthy snakes. = ( i wonder what happened this year.
