You posted a few surprises on me this time. I know you have some clutches this year, but I know next year is about the year your collection is geared for breeding. I'll need to get my want list set up with you. You've put together one of the best North American ratsnake collections I've seen. It looks like you'll have some surprises for us too. Thanks again for posting pics.

AND, just wait till you see the pics of the bairdi that a relative of mine took. Talk about something special.

out and find that Bairdi if you're talking about the one that didn't have or show any stripes. Now you just have to find or hear someone find an all siver/gray bairdi (opposite sex) of the one you know is out there, but haven't collected it yet. You're getting closer to that all silver/gray patternless and no stripes Texas bairdi that you would like to have and/or produce. I'm just keeping count of the search for one. You did a post asking if one existed and hopefully with some help you'll get the ingredients for one. A couple more steps and I'll have to ask you to put me on the list.

Thanks Terry, I am glad to see there is still some interest in N.A. ratsnakes, with all the asians going around. I still have some nice ones that I just havent gotten the right picture yet, so keep a look out

even though I get envious when I see them. It was great to see the Old World rat snakes and people show some forum interest and participation for awhile. There's some very excellent asian snakes that are great pet snakes and are similar to cornsnakes and ratsnakes. Don't worry about North American interest, it will always be high because of the outstanding offspring that breeders produce each year. Just when you think that's it for N.A. obsoleta, you guys kick out 6 or 7 (3 maybe 4 really good) new strains or morphs and/or a variation of a current one. "That's it" will probably never come since breeders like yourself are constantly working with and committed to producing nice obsoleta and new morphs. Good luck Travis I'll be keeping an eye out for some more pics.
