Hi everyone,
Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous posts. I brought a stool sample to the vet this morning to have it checked for parasites and it came back negative. Meanwhile, Frasier is still feeding well and his behavior is normal. He is also putting out urates every day -- I had the impression there were days he wasn't, but ended up realizing they were just getting stuck on the leaves on the way down. The urates look perfectly normal, the only real change in the past week is the soft stool.
The vet can't see him until next Friday, so until I can get an appointment with her, I'll just keep an eye on him.
I also added some silkworms and hornworms to his diet (ordered them from Mulberry Farms last week). He looooves the hornworms! Geez, two of them are enough to make a meal! LOL For some reason, though, he can't seem to zap the silkworms. I'd stick one on his screen door and he would always seemingly aim for the head, which would cause the worm to bounce off the screen and fall on the floor. So I would place the worm back on the door, he'd zap again, *BOUNCE* went the worm. Did that three times.
Honestly, I think he was just playing games with me at that point... LOL Little bratt...
Stay tuned!
Julie, Justin and Frasier: "I want more hornworms!!"
