We see a lot of them locally. Its our second most seen snake, behind the mojave rattlesnake (see venomous: crotalid for mojave pics, they are down the page aways, no recent pics)

I believe it was just short of 30 inches. All of my photos are of wild snakes, no captives, just photographing our great herping experiences!
