Check out ultratherm radiant heat panels from thebeanfarm.com. They come in various sizes and should work ideally for the cage. You will just have to drill a small hole and cut and splice the cord but other than that it will work fine. Just remember whatever source you use to use a thermostat to control the temps. Todd

I'm sure the Bean Farm has excellent panels, however, you might also check out Pro Product Radiant Heat Panels...they are, in my opinion, the best heat panels on the market. We use them on nearly every one of our exhibit cages (and I use them exclusively at home for many herps)...have never had a single problem with them. For a 48x26 cage you will probably want a 75 watt heat panel, however, Bob Pound at PP will tell you what is best for this application. So, you have two great options. Rob Carmichael
