escape artist......

savvgawd Jun 06, 2004 04:23 PM

Well on friday I left for cleveland for my cousins wedding. A woman was going to stay at my house to take care of the 5 dogs, but would have nothing to do with the reptiles. So i fed all the lizards and all the snakes, gave them bigger water bowls, and so on. Since the lady would have nothing to do with them, I was forced to leave all their lights on(Friday-Sunday). Anyway, I come home today and sitting on my bed with his head completely stretched out to me, saying where the hell you been, was my normal burm. I knew my monitors were escape artist but now my burms?? Well I guess i can understand because right now I'm keeping him in a large plastic container with a screen lid that I made, until my animal plastics cages come. the odd part of it was that not one thing was moved from where I left it. I mean the lid was on tight, screening on tight, even the light was in place. I couldn't do anything but laugh at him. Just thought I'd share the story.

All you could do is laugh at him. Funny. I have a question for you though. I've seen pictures you have posted of this guy and I was wondering what his feeding schedual is? I want to compare it to mine as he is close in age and size. I think I may not be giving him enough. He takes 2 jumbo rats every 5 - 6 days. What about you?

Feeding him 2 jumbos every 5-6 days isn't bad at all. I believe the most I've ever fed him was 3 jumbo in a week. Normally I feed just about the same schd. as you, maybe 2 jumbo in a weeek. Here's the most recent picture of him at about....10 months old I think.
