Mighty Monmouth Co., NJ Eastern King "Reborn"

This old "War Horse" (18+ years old) has looked terrible and in fact was thinking he wouldn't make the end of summer. He steadfastly refuses food every breeding season until late August but now that he is older he doesnt put the weight back on well and then he eats for a very short time and is ready for brumation. Well he started eating early this year (about 4 weeks ago) and with gusto and he has put back on muscle and some fat. He has more energy and looks fantastic ! Here are some new pics of him. He is now pounding about 2 rats a week and it shows so it looks like I will get a few more miles out of him which is good as he is a great snake.

He is about 55" long or so .
