Someone please tell me that I am not the only one to snuggle with their Ig. Messenger watches movies with me at night and we "snuggle" on the couch. I have his heating blanket across my chest and he is all wrapped up in it with his head tucked under my chin. As I was doing this last night my husband was giving me a hard time.... "You are the only person who would actually 'snuggle' with their Iguana!"

C'mon guys..... you all do it too right?? I mean who can resist that sleepy face?

I snuggle with mine when they let me or want it. Sometimes my one ig will just sit in the back of my computer chair and rest her head on my shoulder next to my next. She is very content there and it makes me feel really good that they both can trust me enough to come up to me and just snuggle with me.

I not only snuggle with my five foot long, 14 pound iguana but he sleeps in bed under the covers with me and the cat. I believe that it's been pretty well established that igs who are gently handled frequently become tame more easily, and stay tame, than igs who are rarely handled. I think it's great that you all snuggle with your igs!

My 3 foot igs sleep with me. well we alternate nights. lol. I get one night a week to myself and the rest of the time there is a huge pillow, an extra blankie, and a heating pad in my bed. lol. as well as a sleeping green angel.. Warms my heart when I wake up to a peacefully sleeping green face... hehe. what better way to start my morning? They love to stay out of their cages late at night ans snuggle under the cover wherever I am sitting.

We have snuggled, and hugged and kissed our iguana, Iggi, since the day we got her. She has been free roaming for 3 years now. When she is on her bed, (which is chest high to my wife), my wife will come up to the end of her bed, and she will grab my wife's shirt collar, and nuzzle up to her. Here is a picture of her and my wife, 2 years ago.
