THAT IS A REALLY GREAT IDEA. MY husband and I may have to try that also. = ) I noticed in your pic that your gecko looks like mine. I am trying to determine what type of leo I have. can you look at the thread named my gecko take 2? please. The one in my hand is brighter than that but I beleive she is getting ready to shed.

Feel free to try the fake rock, that is why I posted it. My geckos in the picture are normals. It is hard to tell what morph you have from the pictures. It is hard with lighting indoors and getting a good camera angle & such. But you may have normals, maybe tangerine if you see orange highlights on them. I will try to get some pictures of my other morphs posted & you can take a look. By the way, don't get all caught up in the morph thing ... normals are pretty unique, not too many around anymore! These are (if I got the right pic) pastel & hypo tang w/ carrot tail.

aaaah. heyt hats fine I just want to know what they are be it normal or not. lol its just good to know. the female looks alot like the top one in the bucket that you posted but she has bright bright orange at the base of her tail. the other one has lavender bands on its back inbetween the grey and cobered in spots. I dont really care what they are but I am just curious. thanks for the help

Your set up is pretty good, but I didn't notice a calcium dish. If you have one great, if not put a small dish with calcium powder in there. As far as the calci-sand...it has a bad rep, I used it for over 8 years & NEVER had a problem. I switched to play sand in my new set ups because it is cheaper. I only use a 1/8" layer, they like to dig!

why thank you VERY much glad to hear about the sand too. I have heard so much contraversy and I know someone as well who has used it for years w/o a prob so I figured I would go for it. btw yes there is a calcium dish it is right behind the mealie worm dish but thanks for letting me know. = )
