Yes, I think they all were back then with a few exceptions. I had it about a year and the law was passed making them ilegal so I released it where I had caught it. I didn't know anything about grandfather clauses. Afew years later the woods were all bulldozed to put houses on.

It sure does....I can remember as a seven year old back in 59, when a group of boys passed the house with a indigo of about 5' they had just caught crossing the road nearby. It was a real heart breaker when the law went into place before I was old enough to get one of my own....

hard to tell from the pic........ it's a crime what urban sprawl can do isn't it???? My best friend in south Florida is in the process of putting a building on piece of land near the Gulf Coast south of Sarasota, there about 10 acres involved & full of Tortoise holes..... he found a 6 foot shed skin just the other day which resembled as he put it ... 'black bubblewrap'...... I told him NEXT time take it & get some digital pics to me.
