I know red maple is toxic to horses but would it be ok to use red maple inside of a frogs enclosure?I was thinking of putting boiled red maple leaves inside of my frogs enclosure and letting them turn into compost.Any ideas?
thanks

I am currently using a red maple branch in a large gray and green treefrog exhibit. It has fake leaves attached to it. I am not aware of any problems with red maple, especially since it is frequently occurring wetland plant, and frogs certainly use them for refugia.
