Mercury Vapor bulbs

Hey can anyone tell me roughly how big one of these bulbs is?
I just ordered one and need to know how many inches it is from top to bottem...

By wattage but also by design. Some have the shape of a flood bulb while others appear more like a traditional light bulb.

The shortest I have heard of is 4". Others are noticably longer.

To make matters even more confusing are the new externally ballasted MBV's. They are supposed to be slightly shorter.
