I went to Daytona last year...

dmac Jun 06, 2004 08:27 PM

There was breeders from the Netherlands, Asia, England, ect. Two-headed snake. Every major commercial enterprise was there- LLL Reptile, Vision cages, Neodesha, Boaphile (I even think I bought a Boaphile 321 from the man himself, though I didn't recognise him at the time.) I ended up buying a BCC from Cypress Creek Reptiles for 300 bucks. He's my pride and joy. The only other time in my life I was this blown away by an experience was my first rock concert when I was 16 years old. That was the 1980 tour of Van Halen at the Lakeland, Fl civic center. Yeah, I'm goin' this year!

Hey guys I really want to attend DAytona this year but the biggest issue on my mind is how do you get your purchase home if you flew there? I have spoken to a couple airlines and they will not allow anything but "warm blodded domesticated animals" on board.

I am quite sure that most vendors at Daytona will be more than happy to ship your purchase to you. Should not be a problem. See ya there!

NOOOOO! That's not right! I didn't say that! (You think it's hard getting them to lay straight for measuring!) WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? Just kidding, folks-I'll be here all week and don't forget to tip your waiter/waitress!

I am going to flying to Daytona this year and I'm sure I'll be buying something! I was planning to bring shipping supplies with me and ship the package to myself the day I leave. Anyone see any drawbacks to this plan? thanks

Nope it actually sounds like a good idea.. i think steve and i might have to do something similar... good thinking!

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind

But it was at the Lee Civic center in Lee County FL when I went, it was the night after they were in Lakeland LOL. Amazing that they use to go to these small venues.
