I tried to use the Search Forums feature but had no luck. Typing "Substrate" brought up an insane number of posts about substrates for all types of animals. Typing "Tortoise Substrate" brought up nothing. I set up the 5x3 enclosure for now, so next step is adding substrate. I can't use dirt and/or sand in this enclosure (will design the bigger enclosure better so it can hold that if it's preferred). For now I could use Cypress Mulch, Aspen, or Timothy Hay. I've found all 3 of these suggested as possible substrates on various websited and was wondering what some of the good/bad points were to them? Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with these substrates? I am leaning towards a Greek but still considering a Russian at this time if that makes a difference on substrates...
