I have been reading posts on here for a while and have been seeing people post what "pets" they have....what I don't understand is what it means when they say something like 1.3 ball python...what do the numbers mean?

No such thing as a dumb question. I will give this a shot.. The "numbers" your refering to like 1.1 or 1.3 indicate the the amount and sex of said animals. 1.0 = one male while 0.1 would = one female. 1.1 is a pair "one male one female" and to really confuse you 0.0.1 would = no males, no females and one unsexed animal. Hope this helps!!
