Hi Mike,
That is amazing. We are currently working with a small group of parsonii, and we hope to achieve the same success you have. I am very interested in speaking with you about the details of this species in regards to breeding and caring. Good luck with them!

F2? Very big Congratulations Mike!! Hope they all do fine!
Yes. F2. If I do say so myself, this is a pretty big deal.
I suppose most people who follow parsonii know that the origins of many "CB" animals are of questionable origin.
However, I got the parents of these as documented CB hatchlings. From hatchling to hatchling, the total time was more than 5 years. Even at that, I suspect I may have bred the mother too young. If I had to do it over again, I would probably waited another year or two before breeding.
People thinking of getting involved with this species for breeding purposes should be well aware that this is a LONG TERM effort, and that success is - by no means - guaranteed.
Even at the high going prices for them. . . they are not a species you can make money with. If I were to sell 20 babies at $2,000 each. . . I would not even pay for their housing. . . to give you an idea of the potential costs associated with this, little "project."
I agree. There are much easier ways of making a dollar than breeding parsons. Its the love of the hobby that makes things like this possible. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations Mike! It is definitely good to see true CB Parsonii available and from a reputable source.
I guess now you can exchange bloodlines with the Parsonii breeder in the UK that shipped all his CB babies here, LOL. Just kidding... but I couldn't resist.
Anyway, great job and I hope your success continues.
Ivan
OK, now THAT was funny! (*grin*)
