GHOST X HOG ISLAND BABY.............>

LindaH Jun 07, 2004 09:25 AM

During feeding yesterday evening, I got a couple of quick pics of this little girl. They have all finished their second shed and have really made significant changes in such a short time. I need to get new pics of them all, now ....maybe this week I love their coloring, especially in the evening. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Chris. You know, I've been trying to think of what the coloring reminds me of. It's different than salmon, but I could never think of a word.........and bubblegum is about perfect!! They ALL look like this with a tiny variation lighter or darker. I'm so pleased with how they turned out. I'm even more pleased with how clean they are.

Great looking boas Linda. Is that the combo that they call Sunset?

LindaH Jun 07, 2004 11:09 AM

Hi, I am not really clear on exactly what the Sunsets are, so I'm probably not the person to ask.

I believe Sunsets are the dominant offspring in a litter from a HypoxHog to HypoxHog mating. I'm not sure what generation the parents are that produced the Sunsets. DMBreeder's website may have more information on them.

My babies are the result of my Colombian Ghost (Mr Hershey) and a very, very clean Hog Island (Mz Peach). They are genetically Hypos het-Anery. Someday, I would like to make some Ghosts with this Hog Island brand of Hypo.

Now I am seriously rethinking about selling my male Hogg. He is already outrageous...but putting him to a female hypo...the babies they could produce are flooring me.
Thank you for the pics.
