the pet store guy said my two geckos were twins

But he also said one was a boy and one a girl isnt this impossible if they both came from the same egg? I thought temp. was the deciding factor while they are still in the egg?

I highly doubt he meant them to be identical twins. I have not heard of two geckos hatching from the same egg, although I suppose it to be possible (like chicken eggs). I would guess the pet store guy said they were twins as in fraternal twins, or layed/hatched at the same time. I usually use the phrase clutch-mate to describe this, however I suppose fraternal twins would also be accurate.

the same egg. They are not identical though as one is bigger and has less color then the other. He probably didnt know what he was talking about. There were alot of geckoes in the the tank and I dont see how he could have known these two were twins..Thanx
