Finally....pics of Zoe's cage....

icequeen Jun 18, 2003 08:01 PM

Zoe moved into his new home a couple weeks ago.
There really didn't seem to be any huge adjustment period...Thankfully!
Maybe he realized that this was MUCH more comfortable than that nasty, small, stuffy, glass tank he'd spent the last two years in!
He spends most of his time up in the top right of the cage, perched on the highest stem of the schefflera.
Or at the very back of the cage under his basking light...but he really doesn't hang out over there very much at all. The basking temp seems to run consistantly around 90*. He goes over there usually only first thing in the morning, right after waking.
The plants are a mix of real and artificial. Mostly real. The vines hanging down the back two corners are artificial though.
The left side, the door, and the top and bottom of the cage are made of screen. The back and the right side of the cage are made of lucite panels.

All I can say is....THANKS DAD!!!!

Another one...

I may be a bit biased...but isn't he HANDSOME!!!!

Here's one of him showing a bit of colour. He always takes on this "tone" when he's walking along the back of my couch. It's hunter green. I haven't figured out if he does this to try and blend in, or if he just hates the couch!

That's my baby boy.....

Wow, Kim! That's beautiful! And Zoe really is a handsome fella!!

I'll bet he is VERY happy in his new home... Frasier sure is! He has become a completely different chameleon. It really didn't take him long to establish a routine! Every morning, he sunfishes under his basking lamp, poops, then heads down to the ground and hunts for bugs. This is my cue to get his feeding bowl ready. LOL He has us really well trained...

Is Zoe starting to eat again, now that he's in his new home?

Julie, Justin and Frasier.
