spotty shed OK?

lele Jun 07, 2004 03:39 PM

Luna is shedding for the first time in quite awhile and it is spotty. her last shed was the same; a foot here, a splotch on her side there. it's weird. Her hydration is fine and she hangs out under her dripper a lot during the day. Does this happen as they get older and shed less? it doesn't make sense since her whole body grows, not just a foot! LOL!

Genius,

My Jacksons do the same thing. They never shed 100%, just parts. I always spray them down extra when they are shedding sice it seems to help them get that dead skin off.

Hi Genius!

I never did get the pic you sent. I even check my spam mail at aol and it wasnt there. Are ya sure you sent it? LOL.

Yes, it has been humid here too (philly) and it's supposed to get warmer still. I finally sinished my outdoor cage and now I have to try and get my Nosy Be's outside for the first time. The jacksons are easy, the Nosy's scare me.
